Turn Intention Into Action
This word is quite familiar to me. It is not my friend. In fact, it, the “P” word, I find, is the first cousin of fear. It is an inhibitor. It can stop you from doing tasks that will improve your quality of life, complete that masterpiece that is stored in your memory and or cause you to miss out on some of the joys of life. I am not going to spend a lot of time on the “P” word because it is not something that one should dwell on. What I can say is, stop it. Once it is removed from your pattern of doing things, you will feel energized, weight is lifted and you will accomplish more than you could imagine.
The “P word”, procrastinate or procrastination. I will define it as, “the art of delaying, deferring or dragging your feet.” Oh, I am so good at it that I have developed clever ways of masking “procrastination” so even I am not aware of what’s taking place.
Let’s all determine to kick the “P word” out. After all, it is just an obnoxious habit that can be undone with effort and determination.
