The Role of Art in Healing and Empowerment

Art has always been more that color, canvas, and composition for me, it is a living language. A I oftenremind myself, “Allow art to speak to you because it has already spoken to the artist.'‘

I am always deeply moved when someone stands before one of my paintings and begins to cry. That emotional release tells me the artwork has done what it was meant to do. It has reached them. It has touched a place inside that words cannot always reach.
